The low-scoring affair featured the Dodgers hitless in their 14 at-bats with runners on base through seven innings before breaking through with a four-run rally in the eighth inning. Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, and Freddie Freeman combined to reach base eight times in 15 plate appearances, including two hits apiece by Betts and Ohtani, who each had run-scoring singles in the decisive eighth inning.
