Catch all of the past week's great guests in one place. Jacob Coxon, a former Anthropic and OpenAI researcher who spoke out about the dangers of artificial intelligence, opens up to Jon Stewart about the grim reality of the tech industry— from malicious hacks to potential biological attacks. The two discuss the future, AI-led utopia that tech companies are trying to sell us, the megalomania and riskiness that underlie the industry, and the terrifying capabilities Coxon witnessed while training AI models at Anthropic and OpenAI. Academy Award-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin sits down with Michael Kosta to discuss writing and directing his new film, "The Social Reckoning." Sorkin discusses revisiting Mark Zuckerberg as an anti-hero 16 years after “The Social Network,” balancing his role as both writer and director of the film, and recounting how intense physicality during the writing process once landed him in the hospital with a broken nose. Sebastian Stan sits down with Michael to talk about the Palme d'Or-winning film “Fjord,” which explores the story of an immigrant family in Norway whose children are taken away by authorities who believe they’re acting for the right reasons. Stan opens up about his personal connections to the film, leaving Romania at the age of eight, and reconnecting with the country he left behind. Plus, Kosta talks about Stan’s eclectic career choices, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to playing President Donald Trump. Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actor Kyle MacLachlan joins Michael to discuss his bestselling memoir, "Fictional Selves." MacLachlan opens up about bouncing back from a disappointing debut in the 1984 version of “Dune,” the tight-knit relationship he developed with director David Lynch throughout his career, his most iconic roles from “Sex and the City” to “Showgirls,” and the surprising, industry-changing success of “Twin Peaks.” Plus, hear about the wine label MacLachlan started with his dad and how he learned to navigate Hollywood and advocate for himself on set. -- The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11/10c on Comedy Central. Kimberly Guilfoyle takes a page out of the Trump corruption playbook by reportedly demanding a $100,000 Amex payment from pizza exec Eric Deters, who found himself disappointed when she didn't get his s**tty music into the hands of MAGA loyalist Kid Rock. This was apparently the last straw that led Deters to rat her out, which has Michael Kosta wondering how to know who can give you the best value for your bribe. Trump's plan to build 27 miles of border wall in Arizona's San Rafael Valley is aimed at keeping immigrants out, but it comes with one major complication: How are the local jaguars supposed to f**k? Grace Kuhlenschmidt traveled to Arizona to see how this wall controversy is playing out on the ground, hearing from environmental activist Russ McSpadden and a host of locals and officials whose opinions range from "It's just damn sad" to "And?" Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actor Kyle MacLachlan joins Michael to discuss his bestselling memoir, "Fictional Selves." Lewis Black has no problem with the whole dying thing, but not everyone shares his passionate yearning for the bright light. In this edition of Back in Black, Lewis looks at how anti-aging biohackers are doing everything they can to delay the inevitable, from tech tycoon Bryan Johnson getting injected with his son's plasma to TikTokers sleeping 12 hours a night and eating "organ meats." Catch all of the past week's great guests in one place.  Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent Evan Gershkovich joins Jon Stewart to talk about his new memoir, “This Cursed Beautiful Land: A Russian-American Story.” Gershkovich, who spent 16 months imprisoned in Russia on false espionage charges, breaks down how a source, a second meeting, and a Putin pep talk to the FSB landed him in Russian prison. He discusses growing up in a Russian-speaking home, what drew him to reporting in Russia, life pre-imprisonment, and how he ultimately became a bargaining chip in a Putin-led prisoner swap scheme. He also weighs in on what a post-Putin Russia might look like and the totalitarian warning signs he sees in the U.S. Booker Prize-winning and bestselling author Marlon James sits down with Jordan Klepper to discuss his new novel “The Disappearers," which The New York Times called "the novel of the decade, if not the century.” James discusses his childhood in Jamaica, where he hid his sexuality by learning to disappear; his use of violence and sex in his work; and literature’s role in keeping a historical record for those typically erased from mainstream history. Irish musician CMAT joins Jordan to discuss her acclaimed third album, “Euro-Country.” They talk about how she weaves profound lyricism with Western melodies, what it means for her music to embody “funeral humor,” why the Irish psyche loves country music, and how the title track examines the repercussions of politicians’ actions. John Wilson joins Jordan to discuss his new documentary, “The History of Concrete.” The creator of “How To with John Wilson” shares how he finds beauty in the mundane through his unique shooting and editing style, how he scored an uninterrupted shot of Kim Kardashian at a fancy dinner party, and what happens when you spend your entire film budget on a creepy wax museum in Rome. Jordan also pitches an idea for Wilson’s next documentary project. -- The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11/10c on Comedy Central.
