Whether you've played in front of him (booming drives rolling respectfully up behind you), behind him (more on that later) or alongside him enjoying his tunes, Jeff Steingraber is a Rainier presence. Take a pleasant stroll down the center of the fairway with the man known simply as Ginger as we learn more about his journey to our wonderful golf club.

But having grown up just across the street from the 10th green it all started back at Rainier Golf and Country Club, where his first practice strokes were into the side netting of the range as he picked up range balls.
