One hat he wears is the Program Director for The Oxford Dream Center, what he calls a carbon copy of an idea with its own bit of originality. Drew has a heart to serve and help those in his community succeed.  No matter what you do or what area of life you’re in, you need people. Drew shares that the idea of community and connection is what helped build this center. Often, life moves too fast to be able to catch onto your dreams. This center is designed to come alongside people and push them to their dreams. We sat down with Ryan Marsden, the Executive Director of the Recovery Café and President of Rise Recovery. With personal experience in long-term recovery, Ryan recognized a need to connect individuals with the resources to cope with and overcome trauma, substance abuse, grief, and other struggles in safe spaces. These organizations provide needed resources for treatment and live-in residential services. The goal is to get individuals out of isolation and build community. Ryan talks about creating a safe and judgement-free space for all.
