Joe Adams welcomes back Jim Morris on the Relentless Pursuit Podcast (Ep. 208) for a wide-ranging conversation about integrity, connection, and legacy.

Jim Morris watched his father pull a man out of a burning car after a police officer told him he shouldn't have. Years later he watched the same man lose himself to OxyContin while telling his son not to touch drugs.

That contrast is where this conversation lives.

In part one Jim told the story of the house he grew up in and the eighteen years he spent unable to ask anyone for help. This is the other half. What he built out of it, what it costs to hold a line, and the times he didn't.

He talks about the road metaphor he uses for integrity, the dotted lines you drift across without noticing, and how the little compromises stack until the big one doesn't feel like one. He tells the story of the $200 he took from a man who had helped him. He talks about the coach who taught him to use photos of his own kids to close a sale, and about walking away from tens of thousands of dollars when he saw who someone really was off stage.

And near the end, he answers a question about his father.

Watch Episode 206 first if you haven't. This one lands harder with it.

Jim is the author of Connect or Die and the founder of Human Touch Publishing.
