Abduhl Rahhahman engraved by Thomas Illman, 1833-1834, courtesy of the Library of Congress. Ibrahima Abdur Rahman was born into a royal family in the Futa Jallon region, present-day Guinea. Educated in several centers of Islamic intellectual learning, including Timbuktu, Rahman learned to read and converse in Arabic, and came to speak at least three other languages – Bambara, Mandingo, and Jallonke. Not a first-born son, however, Rahman was then sent by his father for training in military leadership. During battle, around the age of twenty-four, Rahman was captured and sold into slavery. We felt this story we’ve learned about throughout our travels was worthy of talking about and many more like his. Our journey through Mississippi, and many other states educated us in the rich history that African-Americans share. Hopefully we continue to learn about our history and it makes us into a better version of ourselves every day. Jamaica was beautiful exiting and i learned a lot. It was true repensitaion of cultured people who's government dose not care about it's most valued asset....the Jamaican people. I do wish one day things change for the people of Jamaica and they are provided the things needed to earn a proper living for themselves and their families.

Muzzy B is one of the most outspoken youth of today.Very self motivated and inspiring to many of her peers.This is why i have nicknamed her the spokes person of the youth.She will continue her journey of trying to find her own way in life and helping others as well.With the way of Islam guilding her and the love of the Deen of Muhammad (saw) We pray this young lady continues her path to sucsess and true happiness.We hope and pray this interview inspires both young and old to become and better versions of ourselves.

The Holy Last Messenger (saw) said that..."It is best that the stomach should be filled with 1/3 solid,1/3 liquid,1/3 air." Maintaining this balance will aid in the digestion of food,promote a healthy body,and prevent many diseases. To build strength of soul we must establish the code of Law. Do not transgress the Divine Law of God Almighty. Whether you follow the Torah (old test) the Injil (new test) or the Holy Quran (the last test). The message is one and the same. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. Follow the Law and you will never fall into fear and dispair.

O Believers! Fasting is ordained for you,even as it was ordained for those before you (Al Baqarah 2;183) All acts of worship include some outward physical move-ment,but not fasting.In the Prayer you stand,sit,bow down and prostrate yourselves; all these acts are visible to everbody.In Hajj you undertake a long journey and travel with thousands of people,Zakah,too, is known to at least two persons,the giver and the receiver, None of these acts can remain concealed; if you perform them,other people will come to know about it. But the Fasting is a form of Ibadah (worship) which is entirely private. The All-knowing God alone knows that His servant is fasting.
