In this episode, we discuss: How Jenny's ability to ask questions and truly listen to the needs around her, turned into one of the leading ethical impact brands in the Unites States. What to do when you experience burn out. What "white-saviorism" is and why we need to understand it before ministering to others, especially in other cultures. Why relationships are so vital to succeeding and how to effectively create those relationships. Failure and why its okay.  In this episode, you will be challenged and changed. Jenny shares her experience living in Kenya and she inspires us to look at others through their lens and to ask the hard questions. She reminds us that our way is not everyone else's way, and before we can effectively help someone we must first understand them. I pray this conversation will challenge you to step outside your comfort zone and see the world through someone else's eyes. My hope is that this conversation will change you and help you to better minister to the people God places in your path. Jenny is the Founder and CEO of Imani Collective — a social enterprise + holistic women’s empowerment program in Mombasa, Kenya committed to breaking generational poverty. She is also the Co-Founder of the School of Ethical Impact and brings a unique intersection of both classroom + real-world social entrepreneurship expertise.   But this is only part of her identity: Most days you can find her laughing with her kiddos, wondering the streets of Mombasa, or simply enjoying a great cup of Kenyan coffee. She wears many hats, but some of her favorites are being a wife and a mother of three, who is passionate about spreading joy and helping inspire women from all walks of life to pursue their dreams and step into their true potential.
