They weren't really fans of that film but this one actually has Xenomorphs and some decent kills, so I think it'll fare better. The first question I was asked when I told Chris and Anita about this movie was, why?!? Did we really need to know where the Xenomorphs come from? Maybe, maybe not but we're gonna learn anyway. No Xenomorphs this time, just Predators and jungles! This is only my second time watching this film and a first time watch for Chris and Anita. If this was released today, would this be considered a "Soft Reboot?" It certainly feels like one and for some reason, it really made Chris want to go on a holiday of the Jet Blue variety. Now, this is the battle I wanted to see back in the day. Not underground with a small group of people, not a bunch of backstories, just put aliens and a predator in a small town and let them put in work! Loved this back when I was 16 in the theater, but I must know if it hits the same in my 30s. My sick humor is pretty much the same, so i'm sure i'll still enjoy it!
