This week, both the prosecution and the defense rested their cases in the trial of rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs. The government called 34 witnesses to testify during the trial, while the defense called none. Combs faces charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy. Closing arguments begin today. After 31 days of testimony and four days of deliberation, Karen Read's retrial has come to an end. Today, jurors found Read not guilty of second-degree murder in the death of John O'Keefe, as well as not guilty of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
