“I always try to keep in mind, and this is a design rule, that the people who will be using the thing that you're making, it's probably not you. A lot of the times, we want to build something and the intent is, ‘This is how I would do it.’ But at the end of the day, that's rarely the case. It's important to just keep that in mind and sometimes you just exercise a little bit of empathy, put some empathy into your work.
