EP 206: Hitler's Escape and The Nazi Power Quest w/ Doug Woodward

Author Doug Woodward returns to The Days of Noah as we explore the foundational understanding from Doug's earlier books, Power Quest 1 and 2, of the pursuit for Occult power, the very same original temptation of the Serpent that "you shall be as the gods", that Hitler and the Nazis were pursuing. Truly a Satanic undertaking as the very seat of Satan was brought to Berlin at the same time the Nazi rose to prominence. Our conversation will conclude in the next episode. Dr. Natalie Atwell, with over 2 decades of mental health therapy experience and author of the recently recently book "Humanity Under Seige", returns to discuss what's missing from most counseling and therapy approaches, how the reality of the demonic influences on us all, Christians included, is necessary to understand in order to get to the root of many dark issues we face. We talk about medication, pastoral approaches to mental health, and Dr. Atwell gives her take on the tragic Lindsay Clancy trial, where demonic voices that she listened to led to her killing her 3 children. Beatty and Pete conclude with their final part, 10 Episodes in total, 10 hours of interviews, discussing the open doorways to evil spirits and torment from Covenants and the Occult. We can't afford to be dogmatic on these issues! It requires Holy Spirit discernment, because the saying "God knows my heart" doesn't fly if we're in violation of His ways. Beatty Carmichael, author of "The Prayer of Freedom", returns for a fifth time to help us understand how trauma that we go through is often a tunnel or an entrance for spiritual oppression, and that God wants us to be free from it, but there's a way that it must be dealt with according to His sovereign plan and purpose. That freedom can be found by following the principles in His Word, the Bible, as Beatty helps us to understand. The conversation will conclude on the next episode, as we explore two other areas of open doors to spiritual affliction, covenants and the occult. When we make spiritual declarations, decisions, sacrifices, or draw "lines in the sand", how often do we test our OWN spirit? What is our heart motivation behind it? Perhaps it is 100% right, and even following the Lord Jesus Christ fully and obediently. But the danger is often this: Satan or our own ego/human soulishness can get in the way and corrupt what started pure and take it to an extreme, or become a stench in the nostrils of those around us. We are to be Salt and Light- Yes!- but only the Holy Spirit's conviction should offend others, not something from ourselves.  Jesus and His Word tests the motivations of our heart!
