Emotional resiliency and mental health in our youth today with Deva Neely
In this episode we will be talking with Deva Neely about supporting mental health and the emotional resiliency within our youth, she will also share some resources for parents on navigating kids schooling from home. Deva is a former teacher turned Youth Empowerment Coach. She has always known it was her calling to help kids, but in a very different way than a classroom would allow. While working in some pretty tough schools, Deva recognized a lack of motivation and drive in her students and many were navigating through depression and anxiety. Through this discovery, a program was born and developed over 15 years to become an Emotional Resiliency and Wellness program for youth focusing on mindset, mindfulness, goal-setting, mental health awareness, and suicide prevention. She is also a podcaster of the show “Raise Your Voice” which is a platform to talk openly and candidly about mental illness and giving support, help, resources, and hope to those suffering in silence. Deva also runs a Parenting Influential leaders of tomorrow Facebook group and can be found at:
