As Los Angeles begins to recover and rebuild after the wildfires, the City and County Councils are taking advantage of this tragedy to attack homeowners. The LA City Council is meeting on Wednesday, January 29th at 10:00 AM. to decide on a Rent Freeze and Eviction Moratorium February 2024 was the first increase opportunity since March 2020.Now, one year later, they want to freeze the rent AGAIN, preventing the February 2025 increases from going into effect. After a decade of not being able to return, I finally took my family to meet my family in El Salvador. Being able to be out and about at night was uncanny.
