Day 86: I need to be a great success.

Every entrepreneur knows that sometimes you get the perfect storm of a bunch of big problems all at once that create the feeling of overwhelm, panic, or doom. But is it actually too hard? Is there actually something to be worried about? The only way to know is to question it.

When we’re stressing about having too much to do and not enough time, is it really true that we need more time? Let’s take a look and find out by questioning our beliefs and comparing reality to imagination. What I’ve discovered is pretty wild.

Will becoming a great external success with fame, wealth, and status actually bring us the things we really want - happiness, contentment, joy, love? Let’s take a look.

Today I’m taking a look at my control freak tendencies. Can you relate? When things get difficult or complex I often have the thought, “I need everything to go my way” to get through this. But is it really true? Could it be more true that we need to go the universe’s way?

Today I’m questioning whether I need to be the best in order to be happy, successful, content, able to rest, etc. This fear-driven motivation is behind so many of us. Let’s question it.

Today I’m questioning the voice of doubt that so many of us have, but that is almost certainly not our own voice. Most of us have been told at some point that we’re not going to make it, that the odds are slim, or that we’re not good enough. And we believed them. Now it’s time to question that belief’s truth.
