Join us as we travel back to 1997 with our special guest, touring car journalist Andrew Charman, to relive the thrilling debut of the BTCC at the modern iteration of the Croft Circuit.

Challenges arose, primarily due to the unpredictable weather that transformed the track into a muddy battlefield, with some drivers questioning the safety standards of the circuit prior to the event too.
