511: Benicio del Toro On The Phoenician Scheme

King Of The Drums, Antonio Sanchez, joins us to discuss his work on Apple TV+ hit, The Studio, and his seminal, groundbreaking score for Birdman. He is an absolute delight, and fascinating in his exploration of his process.

In the second interview marking the release of 28 Years Later, G & Kayus from Young Fathers join Edith to discuss the score for the film (miss you Alloyssious). Benicio heads an extraordinary ensemble cast as Zsa-zsa Korda, a wealthy businessman who appoints his only daughter, a nun, as sole heir to his estate. As Korda embarks on a new enterprise, they soon become the target of scheming tycoons, foreign terrorists and determined assassins.
