Episode 45: Dolly, Dreams & Disaster

This week, I remember the legacies of Dolly Parton and Tim Curry, talk Tuesday karaoke with AJ and the 1,000th episode of Big Brother, and dive into two very strange dreams—one featuring my ex and another where I somehow survive a collapsing Las Vegas casino by apparently respawning. I also discuss the Lindsay Clancy trial and the difficult questions surrounding mental illness and responsibility. Basically, my subconscious is still an asshole.

This week, I follow up on the meatloaf with more cooking adventures, including nearly eating an entire dish of baked ziti, some questionable chicken combinations, and the realization that I apparently can’t even get laid in my dreams. This week I make my own meatloaf with a few missing ingredients—and somehow it turns out delicious. , work ruining my time off, which is finally getting me motivated to update my resume, and the painful dentist appointment I’m already dreading.
