The Garden in the Sky - Schachen alpine garden

Jay discusses his passion for the plants in both his home garden in Vancouver, Canada and his rock gardening cabin. Jay grows a wide range of plants across these two locations. He takes us through some of his experiences growing these plants and some of the people that inspired him to do so.

We enjoyed hikes and visits to nurseries, including a 8 hours drive to collect some Pinus lambertiana (Sugar Pine) cones - the longest pine cones in the world. Things everyone does when in America I'm sure... Luca has since moved to Australia, working for one of the best nurseries in the country.
