Anime News: Kaiju No. 8 Season 2's Trailer Unveils More Cast, Ending Song

The official website for the television anime of Naoya Matsumoto's Kaiju No. 8 manga began streaming the third trailer for the second season on Thursday. The trailer reveals more cast members, and also reveals and previews the second season's ending theme song "Beautiful Colors" by American band OneRepublic, who also performed the first season's ending theme song.The second season will premiere on TV Tokyo and affiliated channels on July 19. Japan unveiled during its panel at Anime Expo on Saturday a trailer for the new anime adaptation of Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's landmark manga Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken), and it reveals the all-new main cast. The new anime announcement commemorates the series' 40th anniversary.The manga's story is set in a post-apocalyptic world. The story centers on a man named Kenshiro, a master and successor to a deadly martial art, as he wanders the nuclear wasteland protecting the weak and innocent from violent thugs.
