Today is day one of a preliminary hearing expected to last all week for 23-year-old Tyler Robinson.  Robinson is facing the death penalty for the September 10th murder of Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed while speaking to a crowd of 3 thousand people at Utah Valley University. Prosecutors will be laying out its evidence against Robinson, which will include a video taped statement from Robinson’s former roommate and romantic partner, to convince a judge there is enough proof to go to trial. Headlines have been popping up since Friday that Trump may consider adding Sean Diddy Combs to his pardon list in honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary. It was an eventful 250th celebration of our country on Saturday. Unfortunately a mass shooting broke out on Coney Island after the fireworks display, leaving 4 children and 4 adults shot, one woman remains in critical condition this morning. We are learning more about the couple who seemingly got engaged on the needle of the Empire State Building this week in New York City. Hours before the July 2nd deadline imposed by a federal judge, the Department of Justice asked the judge for 60 more days OR accept its reasoning why it would not produce unredacted versions of several documents.
