Misliving Episode 11: The Power of Perseverance.

In this episode, Sean takes a brief departure from our open hand series to talk about an important question that a friend asked him this week. “I know Jesus loves me but does he really like me?” enjoy this fascinating teaching around Jesus live and how he loves us all just the same.

In this episode, Sean talks about how we were designed. We were not designed for control or ego, or to rule the Earth in an evil way. We were not designed for our own personal benefit. And here’s the big clue… The best way to see our design is to study the life of Jesus.

Our prayer is that Open Hands will make us all think about our role on this earth very differently, and inspire us to truly live in service to our Heavenly Father.

We are just telling what we have seen and inviting our friends to come and see what we have experienced.

As we continue our series on misliving, Sean discusses the power of simplicity. First, we take a look at the life of Jesus for the perfect model. And then we discussed three practices that can help us simplify our life and focus more on Him.

In this episode, Sean discusses the power of living with a servant’s heart. So many of us are for recognition or getting our name in the paper we making our boss happy. Jesus serve because he love people we serve because Jesus gave us the ultimate gift, his life.

In week 8 of our misliving series, Sean discusses the importance of service. Not just acts that everyone else can see, but a changed heart that wants to live like Jesus. He was the greatest servant to ever live and gave us the greatest gift ever given. If we can live that way, our lives will be filled with purpose and fulfillment.

Generosity can change the world, but we can only be generous if we trust in God. This episode talks about how to live with open hands so that we can be generous, and God can bless us at the same time.

In today’s episode, Sean talks about the power of community and his personal experience in finding community through a local group in Tulsa. We are not meant to do life alone, and this was modeled by the life of Jesus.
