What is a Hammam? A hammam or commonly known as a Turkish bath is a type of steam bath or a place of public bathing associated with the Islamic world. Now a hammam will differ from country to country but the end result is the same. If you have been a listener of the Passports and Coffee Podcast for a while then you know our very own co-host Kayla is a Registered Nurse. For years she has wanted to partake in a medical mission and she finally had the opportunity. In January, Kayla traveled to the Philippines for a medical missions and today she is sharing her experience! We know that not everyone who listens to the podcast is in the medical field and you may never have the opportunity to join a medical mission but our hope is to open you eyes to a very different part of the countries that we travel to. Egypt is one of those countries that is a dream bucket list destination for many. In fact it was a major bucket list trip for the co-hosts of the Passports and Coffee Podcast. But this past October, we were able to tick this destination off our list. We were lucky enough to host our first every group trip to Egypt.
