Earlier this week, the Department of Justice released would-be Trump assassin Ryan Wesley Routh’s letter revealing his assassination attempt on Trump and calling on the world to “finish the job.” Former U.S. Attorney William Barr said he was “dumbfounded” the DOJ publicly released the letter and believes it served no purpose "other than to risk inciting further violence."
