The FBI says former president Donald Trump was the target of an “attempted assassination” at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Fla. Nine weeks ago, the Republican presidential nominee survived an attempt on his life at a campaign event in Pennsylvania.

Minneapolis police have released the ages of the victims in Saturday's hit-and-run in downtown. A 16-year-old girl was killed and five people were injured by a driver who drove the wrong way on Fifth Street and plowed into bystanders at the corner of Fifth and Hennepin.
