OUR TOP 10 MOVIES FROM HOLLYWOOD'S GOLDEN AGE

Frank Sinatra appeared in 60 films and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in From Here to Eternity. Today Shar and Bill share their top three Sinatra films... Guys and DollsGuys... The Tender Trap... and High Society. 

We picked the 10 movies we watch over and over... films from the 1930's, 40's, 50's and 60's. No Christmas movies... we already did a Christmas show. We guarantee you will like these movies... Most are comedies, but we included two iconic films that are more serious. Enjoy!  

You may not recognize their names, but if you're a fan of Hollywood's Golden Age you will know their faces and voices. We had a tough time narrowing down our picks to six actors who often steal scenes in our favorite movies.

Our daughter-in-law, Kate, talks about her favorite Christmas films and we share our TOP 10 list.      

Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers struck gold during the depression with a string of screwball romantic comedies.  We share three of our favorite films, 'Gay Divorcee', 'Top Hat', and 'Swingtime.' We interview film historian Jeanine Basinger, author of 'The Movie Musical.'  We also hear singer Tony DeSare sing a few bars of a famous Fred Astaire song.
