He has influenced an entire generation of young artists with his music & lyrics, and trend setting fashionable style. In 2017 he was crowned the Godfather of Hip Hop at the West Coast Hip Hop Awards, Oakland, CA. and inducted into the Black Music Hall of Fame as a music icon.
