James Paxton got off to a bad start and never recovered giving up a career high 9 runs on 12 hits. The Dodgers waved the white flag shortly after the Giants jumped out to a 9-0 advantage in the 4th. Shohei Ohtani had a very rare quite day going 0-5 with 3 K's Chris Taylor Homered to get the Dodgers on the board but it was way too little way too late. 10-4 the final

The Dodgers pitching was a concern over the weekend in San Francisco but maybe not a concern for the regular season. Tyler Glasnow and James Paxton both had terrible starts that put the bullpen in a tough spot. Is there a bigger worry about the pitching when it comes to the postseason? Also, Chris Taylor is going to get a chance to play more third base and be in the lineup more often. He changed his swing and has been really good the past few weeks. Crazy game! Tyler Glasnow was off from the beginning giving up 5 runs on 7 hits over just 3 inning's Shohei Ohtani's 26th homer gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead but it wouldn't last long as the Giants scored 4 in the 3rd . LA would answer right back with 4 of their own in the 4th to take a 1 run lead. San Fran would tie it again at 6 and it would stay that way until the 10th. Both teams scored in the 10th son to the 11th where Will Smith laced a double to the gap scoring 2 igniting a 7 run rally. Dodger even the series after 14-7 win. 

Dodgers scored first in the 5th on a Gavin Lux double followed by a Will Smith rbi single. The Dodgers would fall behind on a 2-run homer from Matt Chapman off of Daniel Hudson. LA battled back in the 9th after Andy Pages lead off with his first career triple and then a Jason Heyward sac fly. The Giants would walk it off in the bottom of the 9th on a 2 -run homer from Brett Wisely.

The Dodgers swept the White Sox behind a leadoff homer from Shohei Ohtani and a masterful performance from Gavin Stone. Ohtani set a franchise record with an RBI in his 10th straight game, and he's been on fire since moving to leadoff. Stone threw a complete game shutout and has stated his case to be an All-Star this season. What a turnaround from the struggles of last season. Gavin Stone gets win number 9 in his first complete game shutout allowing just 4 hits while striking out 7. Dodgers finish off their sweep of the White Sox 4-0. Shohei Ohtani lead off the game with another home run his 3rd from the leadoff spot and 25th of the season. It was also his 10th consecutive game with an rbi which sets a Dodgers record.  

The Dodgers won on Tuesday in Chicago thanks to Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and the bullpen. It was a good showing for all of them, but it was not a good showing for Bobby Miller. He once again struggled and went just two innings. Is there concern for Miller? Rough outing for Bobby Miller getting into trouble right away in the first giving up 3 which included a homer from Anthony Benintendi. Miller would be pulled in the 2nd after throwing 60 pitches. But the bullpen would come and take care of business shutting the White Sox down. A leadoff homer from Shohei Ohtani  got the scoring started, his 24th. Freddie Freeman would tie the game at 3 with an opposite field shot and Shohei Ohtani would come through again knocking in the game winner in the 4th.
