The Athletic took a look at 50 pending free agents across the league and projected their next contract. They did not predict which team these players would sign with, just what their contract could look like in terms of term and AAV. For the Avalanche they had three players on the list. Colorado Avalanche Captain Gabriel Landeskog and GM Chris MacFarland met the media Thursday morning to discuss a number of things involving the team, with getting the biggest concern out of the way right off the bat. We are a few days removed from the Colorado Avalanche season coming to an end by the hands of the Dallas Stars. The Colorado Avalanche had their chances, but couldn't break through against the Dallas Stars, who an old nemesis in Matt Duchene found the back of the net to end the series in six games.
