Crystal Kay is a singer in Japan who debuted at age 13, and has been singing for the past 25 years. This is her story of her career, as well as being Black-Korean (Blasian) in Japan and what her life living in Tokyo is like. Discussions include the change in people around the globe listening to Japanese music or K-POP now, how Crystal uses her influences in Black music to sing in Japanese, and what it was like to overcome her struggles of being a singer in Japan.

Joshua is a 3rd generation British citizen, born and raised in Japan. His parents are both of European descent who also were born and raised in Japan.
