Welcome to the 48th episode of Let’s Unpack That! We’re two friends, Cal and Chevall, who decided to start a podcast where we analyze media under a critical, appreciative lens. To start, we’re reading the legendary manga Berserk together for the first time and recording our reactions, analysis and BSing about the manga from the late Kentaro Miura, who died May 6, 2021 at the age of 54.
This week, Cal and Chevall return to Berserk to start the Lost Children storyline, which takes place two years after the Eclipse. See if Guts has grown at all since we've seen him and see what we think for this setup to a solid arc. Plus, we discuss fighting game tournament faux pas, Cal's thoughts on Frieren and anime you should check out.
