3 Most Terrifying Verses in the Quran You Must Know

What if Allah allowed you to witness the unseen world for just one day? What if you could see the angels recording your deeds, the rewards of your prayers, and the realities of the Hereafter?Would you make different choices? Would you guard your actions more carefully? Would you find greater comfort knowing that Allah sees everything others cannot? In this powerful Jumu'ah khutbah, Shaykh Suleiman Hani explores one of the most essential foundations of Islamic faith: Iman bil-Ghayb, belief in the unseen. In Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah describes belief in the unseen as one of the defining qualities of those who are mindful of Him.But believing in the unseen is not simply acknowledging what lies beyond our physical senses. It should influence our intentions, strengthen our sincerity, guide our decisions, and transform the way we live.Through the inspiring examples of Prophet Yusuf (AS), Uwais al-Qarni, and Prophet Zakariya (AS), this meaningful Islamic reminder invites us to examine our relationship with Allah through three deeply personal questions.1. Who are you when nobody is watching? The story of Prophet Yusuf (AS) reminds us of the importance of fearing Allah, remaining sincere, and choosing what is right even when no one else can see our actions.2. Who are you when your good deeds go unnoticed? The example of Uwais al-Qarni teaches us that true honor is not measured by fame, recognition, or public approval. Some of the most meaningful acts of worship and kindness may be known only to Allah.3. Who are you when your pain remains unseen?Through the heartfelt supplications of Prophet Zakariya (AS), we are reminded that Allah hears our prayers, knows our struggles, and understands the worries we may never share with another person. This powerful Friday khutbah explores:• The meaning and importance of Iman bil-Ghayb in Islam.• Lessons from Surah Al-Baqarah about belief in the unseen.• How awareness of Allah can influence our private decisions.• The importance of sincerity when nobody is watching.• Powerful lessons from the story of Prophet Yusuf (AS).• What Uwais al-Qarni teaches us about humility and hidden good deeds.• The beautiful example of Prophet Zakariya (AS) and sincere Du'a.• Finding comfort when our struggles remain invisible to others.• Remembering that Allah knows our intentions, actions, and inner struggles.• Strengthening our Iman through worship, patience, and remembrance of Allah.• Preparing for the Akhirah while living responsibly in the Dunya.Sometimes, the hardest battles are the ones nobody sees. The temptation you resist in private. The kindness you show without expecting recognition. The tears you shed when everyone else believes you are fine.People may never know the full story of your struggles, sacrifices, or sincere efforts. But nothing is hidden from Allah.Your private choices matter. Your unnoticed good deeds matter. Your silent prayers matter.Belief in the unseen reminds us that our relationship with Allah extends far beyond what other people can observe.Let this inspiring Islamic reminder encourage you to strengthen your Iman, purify your intentions, remain steadfast in difficult moments, and seek Allah's pleasure above the recognition of others.Be sincere when nobody is watching. Do good even when nobody notices. Turn to Allah even when nobody understands your pain.May Allah strengthen our belief in the unseen, purify our hearts, accept our hidden good deeds, ease our private struggles, and grant us success in this life and the Hereafter.Ameen.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

But we must also ask ourselves an essential question:Am I doing this sincerely for Allah, or am I seeking the approval and admiration of people? This reminder is especially meaningful in a world where recognition, influence, wealth, and status can easily become measures of personal worth.Imam Al-Ghazali's journey encourages us to remember that knowledge should lead to humility, worship should strengthen sincerity, and success should never distract us from our ultimate purpose. The greatest achievement is not simply to be respected by people, but to strive for sincerity before Allah.Let this powerful Islamic reflection inspire you to examine your intentions, strengthen your relationship with Allah, seek beneficial knowledge, and put what you learn into practice.Speaker: Ustadh ReeceAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
