Hood discussed San Francisco defeated the Los Angeles Rams 27-7 Thursday night in the NFL's first regular-season game in Melbourne, Australia.  Did the Rams shoot themselves in the foot by not arriving earlier? 

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Bears who have become a very popular upset pick against the Panthers from the sharps, but the public loves them to walk into Carolina and leave with a win... Is there any feeling the Bears are walking into a week 1 trap? What is the biggest concern for Sunday?

Hour 3: Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL, MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of The Day. 

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion and Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer joined Kap & J. Hood with the latest updates on the Chicago Bears season.  Kap & J. Hood discussed Bears vs Panthers and how this game isn't a easy one.  Who's healthy and who's not for Sunday's game. 

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Brewers again is Kryptonite for the Cubs, and why aren't Cubs fans more outraged that this team continues to be a punching bag for their "little brother"?  The White Sox lost again to the Pirates 4-1 in a pitcher's duel until the 8th inning when the wheels fell off.  The NFL is back, and Drake Maye didn't perform well....  Who's better, Caleb Williams or Drake Maye?

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver and afternoon radio co-host ESPN Chicago Tom Waddle joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears Training Camp.   Kap & J. Hood discussed Ian Rapaport reported that Kyler Gordon is not with the Bears as he works with his own team to get healthy, with the hope that he will return to practice in a few weeks. This whole thing is just bizarre. The Bears trainers have proven themselves capable with Ozzy and others.

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Brewers seem to be Kryptonite for the Cubs, and now their lead in the Wild Card has gotten less than comfortable at 4 over San Diego, while they continue to trail Philly by a half game. Why aren't Cubs fans more outraged that this team continues to be a punching bag for their "little brother"? Beer bats got the fanbase at bay. They might not even get a home playoff game!
