Hour 2:  Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion and Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer joined Kap & J. Hood with the latest updates on the Chicago Bears offseason. Kap & J. Hood discussed the Mike Vrabel and Diana Russini saga continues . Are we nearing a point where Mike Vrabel is going to have to just step down? This isn't going away and only gets dumber and dumber.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs still winning despite losing another pitcher, as Matthew Boyd is undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus that he suffered... sitting down to play with his kids? Huh??? The Bulls introduced Bryson Graham in a press conference today, and dare I say, it was inspiring??? Bryson Graham was unafraid to use the word rebuild, and be clear about doing things differently, and Michael Reinsdorf explicitly said he would go into the luxury tax to win. Are we fools to believe this will actually work?

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed Baseball fever in this town is not cooling off at all; White Sox and Cubs fans need a temperature check: What constitutes success for the White Sox this season, and is anything short of a World Series a failure for the Cubs?

Hour 3: NFL Insider for SI.com Albert Breer joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears and the latest NFL storylines. Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of the day. 

Hour 2:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Bulls pulling a surprise move, hired outside of the family and got Bryson Graham from Atlanta as their next EVP of basketball operations. He is only 39 and has never been the lead decision maker in any organization, unless you believe he was superseding David Griffin in New Orleans. How much confidence does this inspire as the Bulls move forward? 

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox and Cubs both winning last night in impressive fashion.  The winning streak at Wrigley Field is the longest for the ball club since a 14-game run in 2008.   Michael Conforto  could not remember hitting a walk-off home run in his life!  The Force was strong with the White Sox as they shut out the Angels with a 6-0 win. Davis Martin reached a career-high double-digit strikeout milestone, and Munetaka Murakami finally doubled!
