Earth Narratives from the Philipiness: spirit guides, identities and indigenous advocacy | Meet Nonette Royo
Nonette Royo is an indigenous advocate, executive director of Tenure Facility (@tenurefacility), and a proud daughter of a healer. Her roots led her to reverse her own narrative of displacement in order to pursue a work alongside indigenous peoples and communities from the Philippines to support land rights, ancestral wisdom and community aspirations. This heart-centered conversation weaves their stories to explore spirituality, childhood dreams, life teachings, identity and returning. This podcast was created by If Not Us Then Who (@ifnotusthenwho), an international organization that supports indigenous and local peoples through storytelling, filmmaking, photography and worldwide events. Host Isabela Santana (@isabelaaesantana) is an actress, multi artist, and works as a producer at the organization. Check out ifnotusthenwho.me for more!
