With change in any culture, trend, brand, business or relationship, each person is going to need to pivot from what is familiar to the unknown. The question lies in your ability to pivot and will you  be ready..

When it comes to change, many of us men have a hard time moving with the times as we get stuck and set in our ways.. All of us must remind ourselves that the only constant is change, relearning, growing and strengthening which is all forms of change in many different facets. The question is, will you go the way of the dinosaur (extinction) or will you learn anew, change and live?

Today marks our final thoughts on the Rebuilding Trust series  As with all things when it comes to rebuilding anything you have to count up the cost or ask yourself is it worth it. One thing for sure is once you tackle that question the last thing would be to understand that you do not have to do it alone. When trying to restore trust, the next thing we mist honor and respect is "time". In some situations depending upon the person, time happens right there and now while others will take a lot longer to come to fruition. If you respect their feeling and the time needed, you are actually respecting the process. Don't force it, honor the time....

However, in order to bring back trust, we must first answer the question, "What is trust?" Rebuilding trust: How do we do it? Where do we start? Is it necessary? What is required of me? How do I deal with someone who does not want to participate? First what is TRUST? You feel committed to the relationship of your friend, family and or your partner. You feel safe and know they’ll respect physical and emotional boundaries. You know your friends, family and or partner listens when you communicate your needs and feelings. You don’t feel the need to hide things from them. You and your family, friends and or partner respect each other. You can be comfortable and vulnerable together.
