LTP Gets Spooky: Grim Tidings

It’s Spooky month! First up is Grim Tidings by B.K. Borison, part of the Ghosted series. Jacq and Meghan read the book in less than the 48 hours between when the book came out and the author talk started. Which is honestly a feat and you should be proud of us. Grim Tidings is delightful and we would like the rest of the series right now, please and thank you. Follow LTP on Social Media

In honor of the resident Pirate Queen’s birthday, Jacqueline and Meghan talk the first 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies. This episode will either be madness or brilliance…..it’s remarkable how often those two traits coincide. Unfortunately there was no rum consumed during this, but it does make sense as the rum is always gone… we know Captain Jack Sparrow may sound like the worst pirate you’ve ever heard of, but at least you have heard of him. Enjoy the episode, Happy Birthday Cari, and remember; Take what you can, Give nothing back!….Savvy? Follow LTP on Social Media

Welcome to LTP:Healed Version, where Jacqueline and Meghan get their emotions destroyed by Folklore and Evermore. Obviously the sister albums had to be in the same month because they are sisters and not at all because August quite literally slipped away like a moment in time…..This may be a good time to mention that we will be trauma dumping, just a little bit, but it’s okay because we both got to see bestie therapist Rachel. Put on your flannel, braid your hair, and lets use $15 words. Follow LTP on Social Media

In this episode, Meghan and Jacqueline get to interview one of their favorite authors; Jen DeLuca! In anticipation of the final book in the Well Met series, Well Versed, releasing September 22, the girls get to ask some very important questions. Listen as we find out what characters are heavily influenced by Gilmore Girls and other faves of the pod, how sometimes it takes a bit to figure out if a character is a good guy or a bad guy, and that ghost books are the next best thing to witch books. Who wants to go to the Ren Faire with us?Jen DeLuca is the USA Today bestselling author of the Well Met series, inspired by her time volunteering as a pub wench with her local Renaissance Faire, as well as the Boneyard Key series, set in a haunted Florida tourist town.P.S. We forgot to say what we liked this week but obviously it had to be this interview! (and also Practical Magic 2 comes out this week) Follow LTP on Social Media

We’re doing better, we made it to September, we can finally breathe…..And tell you all about D23 and Disneyland (our shortest trip ever!) We got to hang out with Craig, Justin, Vanessa, and Brett, met zero (one) characters in Disneyland, fed and caffeinated ourselves correctly on one single day only, and….had lots of fun? The trip was great, we made it home just in time for Meghan to wake her kid up for her first day of Kindergarten (send help) and Jacq got enough sleep (sort of) to start tech week. Erik, your turn to come up with questions for us, we’re tired. Follow LTP on Social Media

…Ready For It? Of course the description is going to start out the same way at the other Rep episode, it’s just too good to pass up. To close out June, we talk about Reputation and do our monthly REPORT. There is also talk about drunk Shakespeare, how pretty Harry Styles is, and the beautiful man that is Tom Hiddleston. Happy June! Follow LTP on Social Media

Voices, hearts, and hands, hands and voices and hearts…..it’s time to live watch Dirty Dancing! If you are related to us, here is your warning to maybe not listen Of course there are tangents, very hard hitting journalism (that guy really does look like Peter Parker), and a very beautiful acappella rendition of “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.” Follow LTP on Social Media

Welcome to chaos test month! This month (that we usually take off) we have some ideas to to try out on you. This week is full of random purse items, Off-Campus, gay books, and memes. As usual we have tangents and if you are related to us, probably don’t listen? Happy Pride month! Follow LTP on Social Media

In the last episode of Meghan Month, the girls have money troubles. Just kidding, Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Meghan and Jacqueline get to talk about it. The cast is stacked, with Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, Elle Fanning, and so many more. Aliens, Pro Wrestling, babies, and unfortunately, no Arby’s. This month’s REPORT also has some special mentions so be sure to stay and find out about our new book club! (Don’t worry Caitlyn, the frogs are back with a special gremlin guest) Follow LTP on Social Media

In this week’s Meghan month episode, the girls talk The Lost Boys. No, not the peter pan lost boys, the vampire lost boys. AKA the corey’s and the grandpa and the mediocre white men. Which apparently is tragic, even though it is absolutely Meghan’s type. Enjoy the ramblings from the porch, the rants about who’s face we hate, and sex songs. Happy Birthday Meghan!
