He believes pastors have avoided political issues for fear of dividing their congregations—but says that must end, because America’s political landscape has shifted from Right vs. Left to Right vs. Wrong. With people of faith often withdrawing from the ‘unsavoriness’ of politics, only 25% of evangelical Christians vote in California.
