Mexico: Paradise With a Side of Cartels We gave props to the beauty of Mexico and its people… then immediately added, “but don’t go there.” Jay described it as a full-blown narco state with stats that sound like they came out of an action movie—over 400,000 killed, 60,000 missing, and zero chance you should believe your cousin who says Cabo is ‘totally safe.’ Federal Lands & Federal Shenanigans Senator Mike Lee floated the idea of selling off U.S. federal lands—because apparently nothing says patriotism like a clearance sale on national parks.
