The Todd Sees Case

Episode 1 — Busby's Chair: "The Chair Nobody Sits In"A plain wooden pub chair in England has been blamed for so many deaths that a museum finally hung it from the ceiling, out of reach, so nobody could ever sit in it again. In 1702, counterfeiter Thomas Busby murdered his father-in-law and, on his way to the gallows, supposedly stopped at his local pub, sat in his favorite chair, and cursed it: anyone who sits in my chair will die a sudden death. The legend went on to credit the chair with dozens of deaths over three centuries, including two Canadian airmen in the Second World War. Nobody ever kept a verified list — but in 1978 the landlord gave the chair to the Thirsk Museum, and the museum hung it high on the wall, where it hangs to this day. A building full of people whose job is not believing in curses, and their official policy is: nobody sits in it. Ever. Just in case.Ghost Joe separates the history from the legend, and asks the real question: does a curse live in a piece of wood, or in three hundred years of nobody being willing to sit down?Hey! Don't Touch That!Hey! Don't Touch That! is a mini series from The Warped Reality Paranormal Podcast, hosted by Ghost Joe. The world is full of objects that come with a warning: a chair nobody is allowed to sit in, a painting that sold with a liability waiver, a doll that lives behind glass. In each episode, in about five minutes, Ghost Joe tells the story of one of them: where it came from, what it's said to have done, and where it is today. And he always tells you which parts are history and which parts are legend. New minis land between the full-length Warped Reality episodes. Look all you want. Just — don't touch.
