LSU baseball 2026 season preview

Glen breaks down what he's seen at every position through the first nine practices of spring practice 2026. Where the competition appears to be the fiercest, how the two quarterbacks have been performing, the big winners of the spring so far and what we want to see as LSU winds down practice this month.

We break down how we got to this point with Wade returning as LSU's coach, the immediate next steps, what the transfer portal pursuit could look like and what should the year one expectations be for the program?

With spring practice starting, we break down some thoughts on each position on the defensive side of the ball. Where the most competition lies, who will be the starters and which players will be counted on as leaders and must step up for Blake Baker's unit to take another step forward.

Glen breaks down all of the position rooms offensively as the Tigers are now a week away from starting spring practice.
