Supporting regenerative agriculture by going out for dinner
Peggy Chan is the Executive Director of Zero Foodprint Asia and the Founder of Grassroots Initiatives Consultancy. Zero Foodprint Asia is part of a global non-profit organisation mobilising the food industry around soil regeneration for better food and health, thriving farms, and a healthier planet.
In this episode, Peggy shares her journey from working as a chef to becoming a force for environmental change in farming and hospitality. She discusses her role in developing Hong Kong’s first carbon-neutral restaurant, Grassroots Pantry, and how that led to her involvement with Zero Foodprint Asia, whose goal is to support farmers transitioning to regenerative farming practices with the aid of restaurants and consumers across Asia.
