With Halloween nearly upon us, our Fabulous Flowers tv duo, Lucy & Paulie, concentrate on a real Autumnal favourite, Physalis - probably better known as Chinese Lanterns. These architectural seed pods are a really textural and interesting addition to any display and as they are a paper thin, dried floral accessory they don't actually require water, so you can introduce them to so many different arrangements and displays.
Paulie shares a wonderful story where Chinese Lanterns nearly caused an upset when he was the Friendly Florist on 'This Morning' with Richard & Judy Finnegan.
Great for any Autumnal or seasonal celebrations from Harvest Festival and Thanksgiving to Guy Fawkes, these little orange beauties with their bright lantern like effect are completely warm and enchanting.
