We had a really fun conversation with Britain from The Shirt Farm about creating shirts that actually have a story behind them, building something you can hold onto for years and how a love of pop culture, nostalgia and fandom can turn into something much bigger.
We talked about everything from The Shirt Farm’s Disney and Pixar inspired designs to wrestling and how a chance collaboration with Tommaso Ciampa last April changed the whole course of the brand.
That collaboration opened the door to AEW, leading to more than 12 shirts and 3 hats so far, with even more to come.
We also talked about Britain becoming a new AEW fan through the process, what he loves about the presentation of AEW, and a lot of the things we have in common as elder millennials who still love the stuff we grew up with.
This was less of a traditional interview and more of a really good conversation about shirts, wrestling, fandom, marketing and creating something that people can connect with.
