Today we chat with California based psychotherapist and fellow wheelie Mike MacLafferty (@archetypal_wellness) about The Princess Bride, a charming and essential comedy about a heroic farmboy who fights to rescue his true love from an evil king, all while spending much of the film in a state of significant paralysis. We also talk about how our disabilities inform and enhance our day jobs, being left alone during complex transfers, self-consciousness on the dance floor, the rarity of physical comedy involving disabled characters, and the benefits of 7-foot attendants.

A special thanks to our Power Chair Patrons: Michael Cumming, Meghan Walsh, Kyle Hanna, Riley Byrne, Andrew Gurza and cjoudas.
