Jimmy attended Small Press Expo (SPX) on the weekend of September 12-13th. A fantastic small press comics show held in Bethesda, MD each year. He got 10 interviews there with: Rachael Smith, Rumi Hara, Kasey Iris, Jennifer Hayden, Natalie Norris, Robin Ha, CK Gormally, Sarah Becan, Mike Dawson and Brian "Box" Brown. Jimmy had the absolute honor to interview the legendary John Cusack! Cusack wrote a fantastic new graphic novel called MOMO. Set in 1972, it's a wild road-trip full of satire, criminals, conspiracies, aliens, the supernatural, a French silent film star, Howard Johnson's, explosions, laudanum, Jackie Gleason and more! Yeah, wild! Jimmy and John talk about the book, some of the real life characters, how true the story is, his chemistry w/ the book's artist Ignacio Noe, growing up as a Gen Xer, a silly fan interaction, how he feels about that Peter Gabriel song, his next graphic novel w/ Noe and beyond. Jimmy also pitches a genius idea for a GROSSE POINT BLANK sequel. An utterly delightful and fun chat! Many thanks again to Cusack for taking the time.

They talked about what she's been up to since last they spoke 3 years ago, graduating from SVA, how she found her style, when she decided to pursue art as a career, the importance of color in her work and more!

Jimmy attended Flame Con the weekend of August 15-16. Always one of the most positive atmosphere's at a comic convention and full of light, love and happiness! A great array of talent throughout. He interviewed Street Noise Books publisher/found Liz Frances. They talked about why she started the company, the importance of hearing stories from marginalized voices, diversity, current/upcoming projects and more!
