Since its inception in 1999, it has consistently been one of the highest rated and most beloved radio shows in Las Vegas. In addition to anchoring the morning show, for which he was named “Best of Las Vegas” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Chet can be seen just about everywhere around town.
Many Las Vegans know Chet from his work on the court at UNLV Runnin’ Rebel Basketball games, appearing as a frequent contributor on Fox 5, or holding down a packed schedule hosting multiple corporate, civic, and charity events.
Chet is also the brains behind the annual Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive, where he lives and broadcasts live on top of 30 foot scaffolding for 12 days straight to raise toys for thousands of Las Vegas children. Since its inception, the 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive has grown to become recognized as “The World’s Largest Single Location Toy Drive.”
