19 A Few Complaints

Some people end up wanting to provide feedback after entering the U.S. at one of our land border crossings. They may have a question, want to compliment a certain officer, perhaps even file a complaint. For all of these, there’s a mechanism in place to receive and follow up on incoming feedback from the traveling public. In this episode we sit down with a CBP Program Manager that handles some of these feedback submissions.

CBP has a story to tell, and that's what we try to do with this podcast. But to tell the full story, we must also drill down into the individual stories of those that make up the CBP workforce. This is the first in what will likely be a series of personal background stories, told by CBP employees themselves. This one comes from Assistant Director of Field Operations, Tinesha Cherry, from the Detroit Field Office. Her story is moving, inspiratonal and perfectly epitomizes the leadership qualities that CBP strives to foster and promote.
