Maddie and Triggs are having a sleepover at Nana and Dadó's, and they have a whole list of things they want to do. But when the electricity suddenly goes out, the group are forced to think of other ways to entertain themselves. Do they really need electricity to have fun with their family?

There is much comedy and running about as Mack panics, making matters worse. He has to rely on Suki’s knowledge from her chicken book to get the wandering chickens back through the gate. But one chicken is missing – Bob’s favourite Queen Lizzie. Thankfully Bob appears with the runaway chicken under his arm.

JoJo and Gran Gran are all set for a sleepover listening to Jazz music on Gran Gran’s record player and JoJo has her favourite book with her to read at bedtime.
