In 2007, a fire at a Pawley's Island home uncovered something much more sinister. In an attempt to cover up a robbery, assault, and murder, someone had taken the life of a beautiful soul and new grandmother. With seemingly no enemies, investigators weren't only looking for who did this but why?

In a remote area of Aiken County, human remains began being discovered in the late 1980's and early 1990's. The women found were all found in the same condition, around the same age, and of similar heritage. To this day, investigators are still trying to piece together what happened.

In 2018, an partially burned abandoned car was found in an Horry County field. A subsequent welfare check led police to the gruesome discovery of an executed father and son. DNA and forensic eveidence brought to light the mystery assailant and the tragic story that was fueled by greed.

In 2015, a Summerville mother of three was easing her way back into the dating scene. What started innocently enough, accepting an invitation to a party, turned terribly tragic.

In January of 1971, two young men hatched a plan to kidnap noteworthy and wealthy people from Bennettsville,SC. Their plan was going well until they picked the wrong house and the wrong man. Their plan was futile but their motives weren't just for ransom. They were looking to make waves on a national scale.

Edgefield County and much of South Carolina was compared to the wild wild west in the 1840's. A political disagreement led to violence leaving two men maimed.
