Disney Mom vs. Disney Aunt: Our Unfiltered Trip Recap | 120

Liz’s sister Kristen is back & she’s been putting in WORK. You know her from Liz’s Instagram or past episodes she’s been a guest on, but this week she’s recapping their recent Disney trip from an aunt’s perspective. She crashed Liz’s family trip, got the full experience, and decided a couple of days was plenty. Then Liz’s unexpected trip to the ER left Kristen holding down the house with three kids…until five neighborhood kids joined them. Eight kids. One over-stimulated Type A Kristen. We’re talking family vacations, aunt life, and the sister who always shows up even when the job description keeps changing (like helping us with this podcast)... What we talked about: Where we stayed (with help from our parents’ Disney Vacation Club membership. We know that’s a privilege—Disney is expensive) What we loved (the best character breakfast, and BTS of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique) Rides and reality checks (why we could skip Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party next time) Back home (Liz’s migraine-with-aura experience, asking for help and Aunt Kristen taking over) REMEMBERING CELINE: Today, October 15, is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Join us in lighting a candle at 7 p.m. your local time for the Wave of Light, honoring the babies we’ve lost and the families who carry their memory. On October 24, Liz’s sister Kelly is teaching a BBB workout fundraiser at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza, with proceeds benefiting March of Dimes. Liz, Kristen, and Libby will all be there!! Come work out with us and support a cause close to our family. Join Kelly for BBB Moves for March of Dimes: Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. ET, Hilton Boston Park Plaza. In honor of Celine; proceeds benefit March of Dimes. Get tickets here. MORE FROM THE CLUB More Disney chaos: Listen to Liz & Libby’s 2025 Disney episode, when BOTH families went together—with Libby pregnant with Sonny. How do we teach kids patience and hard work when everything they want is one click away? This week on Bad Wives Club, we’re talking about parenting in a world of instant gratification, teaching kids responsibility, and getting them involved in household chores. Liz shares how her Skylight calendar is helping organize family routines and motivate her kids to pitch in. We compare chore charts and reward systems for kids, the ones that work, the ones that flop, and why Libby’s pretty much always fall apart. Plus, why does everyone want to be “helper of the day” at school but never at home?! We also share some big podcast news: we hired our first manager! Libby reflects on being a mom of three, how motherhood feels different with her third baby. She also opens up about her August “crash out,” postpartum overwhelm, and the mental load of motherhood long after the newborn stage. An honest, funny conversation about raising responsible kids, managing life as working moms, and trying to teach patience when we’re running out of it ourselves. Our sister and BFF, Kelly Brabants Gallo, is back for part two—and this one is for the BBB girls. In part one, we talked about motherhood, marriage, and navigating grief after losing her daughter, Celine. So many of you sent us and Kelly the most heartfelt messages about what that conversation meant to you. Knowing it helped someone feel a little less alone is exactly why we do this. This week, we’re getting into the story behind the collection Kelly never gave up on. If you’ve been wearing Booty by Brabants since the Not Your Average Basic days, you already know how special this fabric is. But what you haven’t heard is everything it took to bring it back. Kelly opens up about manufacturing setbacks, the financial risks of running a small business, and trying to keep going when her personal world had fallen apart. She shares why she put the collection on hold, what changed behind the scenes, and how she finally got to a place where she could stand behind every detail. We also get into the fit, sizing, new silhouettes, and why we’ve been wearing these pieces on repeat. Whether you’re building something of your own or have been a BBB customer for years, this conversation gives you a real look at the person—and the persistence—behind the clothes. We’re so proud of her. And please stay until the end. Kelly’s husband joins us for a rapid-fire round that turns into a conversation about marriage, working parenthood, and learning how to ask each other for help. There’s football, a chicken cutlet story, and a thank-you to the BBB community that had all of us emotional. The most special way to close out these two episodes. SHOP & CONNECT Explore the collection Kelly brought back on September 30 at Booty by Brabants, and follow Kelly + the BBB team for collection updates, free live workouts, and upcoming events. This week, we’re joined by Kelly Brabants Gallo, founder of Booty by Brabants, Body by Brabants and The Beehive Studio, for an honest conversation about motherhood, infant loss, miscarriage, trying to conceive, and pregnancy after loss. Kelly shares what her fitness routine looks like today, including how she maximizes a short 20-minute workout, adjusts movement for different bodies and seasons of life, and prioritizes hydration, sleep, strength training, and consistency. She also opens up about balancing motherhood with being an entrepreneur and business owner, setting boundaries, and learning not to overplan every part of life. Kelly reflects on finding the hope and courage to try to conceive again after losing her daughter, Celine. She discusses the loneliness of miscarriage and TTC, the fear she carried throughout her subsequent pregnancy, and how EMDR therapy helped her process trauma and prepare to welcome her son, Troy. Now four months postpartum, Kelly talks about adjusting to parenthood, returning to her businesses when she felt ready, communicating with her husband, and learning how to reconnect after disagreements. It’s a powerful conversation about resilience, presence, fitness, relationships, pregnancy after loss, and holding both grief and hope both at the same time.
